Purrr Miss Michelle took me to see da Paul Revere house in Boston.
~~~update 9/23/2013~~~
Who was Paul Revere? OMC you don't know?? Revere was a silversmith in The Colonies during dat Revolutionary War in 1775. He created a community watch, of sorts, to send out an alarm if the town was in danger of attack by the well-organized, heavily armed British Army. He was well-connected both to the aristocracy and to the dissidents who threw 'nip in Boston Harbor. He was even in da Continental Army.
But da reason we know Paul Revere is because he had someone watch from a church steeple and signal with lanterns the British Army's route to a major Patriot weapons depot. "One if by land, Two if by sea."
Revere took a boat across da Charles then jumped on a horse to warn da leaders in Lexington of da danger. All along da route he warned towns to get da militias ready.
And dat why we remembers Paul Revere!
Thx you for da history lesson, Miss Michelle!
