This was my first time at #AnipalHB, and I had so much fun! I loved DJing and sharing the ice skating quizzes with everyone. Thanks to all who joined in and made it such a special event—I can’t wait to do it again!

Ice skating has been around for a long time! People first started ice skating over 4,000 years ago in Finland. Back then, they made skates out of animal bones to glide across frozen lakes and rivers. Later, in the 13th century, people in the Netherlands began making skates with iron blades, which made skating much easier and faster.

Today, ice skating is popular in places with cold winters, like Canada, Russia, and Scandinavia. But with indoor ice rinks, people all over the world can enjoy ice skating, no matter the season!

Enjoy printing and coloring these pictures of anipal ice skaters!
